I have been working in politics, and working together, for almost 20 years.  I started out in campaign politics and learned hard lessons from a lot of campaigns.

In that time, I’ve seen good organizations who have executed great campaigns, and great organizations that have executed some not so great ones.  All of them taught me something.

I have spent most of my adult life in politics.  As a twenty-something, I spent countless and sleepless hours stuffing envelopes, making calls, walking doors, and doing the retail work of politics.  Recently I’ve turned my attention to the political system I’ll be turning over to my kids.

Rather than leaving them a world of problems with no solutions, and politics with no room for different views, I want to do something to leave the political arena better than I found it.

I’ve started this company to focus on public policy and issue advocacy campaigns that are a little different.  I named the company Opinion Movers because I want to return to political discussions and debates that excite us.  I want to build campaigns that educate, inform, and motivate.

Winning is important, but working through our differences to solve problems is something we should never give up on.  I plan to work with friends on both sides of the aisle to build campaigns that unite and inspire.

I hope you’ll join me.
